Jules Hayes

My name is Jules Hayes, my teammates call me Juju because I bring that good juju on the field.

I’m a junior at 6A Westview High School in Beaverton, Oregon, and will be graduating in 2024. I’m 5’11” and play corners for my high school and 18U travel team. I pride myself on being a good teammate, playing good defense, and hitting for power and average. My strength has increased significantly since I began lifting weights regularly last fall. 

I recently finished my junior season at Westview. We won the Metro league with a record of 10-2 and advanced to the second round of the State playoffs. Losing in the second round was disappointing but has motivated my team to get better. At the end of this season, I was voted to Second Team All-Metro League as an infielder with a .955 FPCT in 88 TC. At the plate, I had a .398 BA, and 27 RBI in 110 PA.

I'm currently undecided as a college major. I know that I want to help people but not sure how right now. I'm trying to decide between studying Sports Sciences and nursing.
