Softball Northwest Launching in 2023!

For over 25 years, Baseball Northwest has come alongside baseball players all over the Northwest in their pursuit to play baseball at the next level. In 2023, we are now adding softball.

Softball Northwest launches this year with a goal of supporting and promoting high school softball players in their efforts to get recruited. Our desire is to supplement the high school and club coach's role and provide an additional resource to aid the players through the recruiting process.

Our Softball Northwest website is currently under development but we encourage you to check out www.baseballnorthwest.com as the Softball site will be very similar in design and function.

Softball Northwest is hosting 1-day Prospect Evaluation Camps where we capture verified measurable data and edited recruiting video that are both useful tools in a player's recruiting journey. These videos and data then get uploaded to your Softball Northwest player profile which becomes a "resume" of your softball skills and development to send to college coaches.

We are working on adding confirmed Prospect Evaluation Camp dates to our summer schedule which will be released when the website goes live.

Meet Liz Yandall – Director of Operations

Liz Yandall is excited to pioneer the start of Softball Northwest in 2023 under the leadership of Baseball Northwest’s Josh and Annie Warner. Liz is joining the Baseball Northwest family after a thriving career in coaching and sports operation. Liz is a great fit to be the Director of Operations with her passion for helping young players find their best place to play at the next level.

She was the assistant coach for Willamette University for 7 years, before being named the head coach at Pacific University in 2014. Liz led her program to the 2nd most wins in school history, with 56 NWC Scholars, 2 All-Americans, 14 All-Region, 35 All-Conference, 1 Pitcher of the Year and 1 Player of the Year.

Liz comes over from Capital Fieldhouse where she worked as the Director of Operations for the last 2 years. Capital Fieldhouse is a sports and events center in Salem, OR that believes in community and giving everyone the opportunity to play.

Liz married Eki Yandall in 2010 and currently resides in Hillsboro with their two boys. The family loves sports, being outdoors, and branching out into any activity that challenges them. Rooting for both the Raiders and the Chargers has given them a spirited but not divided household.
